We've created the TPO Mentoring Scheme to help develop the next generation of project & production managers.

It's here because all of us at TPO wished we could have had a scheme like this when we trained and first leapt into the professional world. So we got together and created something we think our industry desperately needs.
It's by no means perfect but we constantly assess and change the scheme to better suit those in it.

Our mentees have the opportunity to spend time on-site with us at regular intervals. We introduce them to the companies and people we work with and let them ask the questions they can't ask elsewhere. We also ask our clients to indicate what they wish new production and project managers knew or understood from the offset.

We're setting up the TPO First community where we're partnering with venues and producers to give them access to new production and project managers. Any of our metoree's managing a show or event as part of the TPO First scheme will have free access to guidance and assistance to ensure the production is a success for the venue, producer and production manager.

We help introduce our mentees to workshops, engineering firms, paint frames, spaces and more. Making sure that they've got all the contacts and have met the people they need to know.

We're currently working to expand the mentor scheme to enable a greater number of aspiring professionals to join. We are working to find a way to help provide mentees access to technology and facilities at the beginning of their careers.

Want to come onboard the TPO Mentoring Scheme?
We only require you to be in training for either Production, Technical and General Management. Get in touch with us and we'll send you an application form to fill out and organise an interview with us. The scheme is always open so you can apply at any point in a year.

We truly believe that education spans more than just a university or drama school course and want to assist our mentees by helping broaden their experiences and continuing support for them when they enter the industry.
